Taillé Philippe (Cologny)

C'est aux côtés de son épouse Joëlle que Philippe Taillé, artisan boulanger pâtissier, se met au défi de reprendre en 1989 la boulangerie de la famille Strasser, ouverte à Cologny deux siècles auparavant. To respond to a demand from a clientele in search of quality and expertise, Monsieur and Madame Taillé renovated their establishment: refurbishing the boutique and the laboratory and creating a new tea room.

Ses efforts et implication constants dans son entreprise ont été récompensés: en 2001 Philippe Taillé reçoit le prix du Label-Qualité et l'a renouvelé, dès lors, trois fois consécutives. Par la suite, une étoile de la Confrérie des Chevaliers du Bon pain ainsi que le prix du Club Prosper Montagné lui sont attribués. Philippe Taillé is currently an expert for apprenticeship examinations in boulangerie-pâtisserie and responsible for professional training in the Canton of Geneva, and also sits on the Cantonal Committee and the French Committee.

And their passion for their business, Philippe and Joëlle Taillé pass it on to their unique grandchild, Stéphanie - aged just 23, she is already the manager of two boutiques, in Carouge and Florissant.
