Traditional and original Engadine specialties, finest pralinés made of Swiss chocolate, daily fresh baked goods and a wide range of confectionery can be found in our branches in Sils-Maria, Silvaplana, Pontresina and La Punt Chamues-ch. We look forward to your visit!

Uncomplicated, cozy atmosphere and a large selection of daily fresh products. This is what Furnaria Grond stands for since 2004. All delicacies are homemade and are complemented by seasonal specialties and creative chocolates. You can discover our products every day in our Engadine stores. We are also proud to supply renowned hotels, guesthouses and restaurants throughout the Upper Engadine.

Engadine nut cake

The Engadin nut cake is probably the best known speciality of the canton of Graubünden. The nut cake from the house of Grond is hexagonal and, with the exception of the smallest variant, is delivered including gift packaging.

Engadine cake

The Engadine Original is a round and multi-layered cake with thin layers of shortcrust pastry and butter-vanilla cream. The cake is finished with a Florentine lid. Available in two sizes.

Pear Bread

A slice of pear bread spread with fresh butter is a delight and goes very well with dessert, cheese or a glass of wine. It can be kept for several weeks and is made exclusively from natural ingredients. Available with or without dough coating.

Confiserie

Not only the finest pralines made of Swiss chocolate! Ibex horns filled with white nougat, chocolate bars with Sils motifs and "Munggäknacker" are some of the original Engadine specialties from our house.

Silser balls

Unique Engadine temptation: Original Silser Kugeln from the house of Grond. They are made of chocolate, marzipan and meringues.

Café and Restaurant

The Grond Café's are located in Sils Maria and Pontresina. The Grond Café in Sils-Maria was already opened in 2004 and is located opposite the Restaurant Alpenrose. In 2012 the second Café Restaurant was opened in Pontresina.

Holiday apartments in Sils

We rent vacation apartments in Sils-Maria.

The Chesa Survial has five apartments between 83 & 98 m2. In the house is also the bakery store and the Grond Café.

Wild animal feed

The original and excellent pastry from our own production: ibex food, gem food and deer food. We were inspired by the fauna of the Engadine mountains.
