Between watches, jewelry and banknotes, the scent of melt-in-the-mouth chocolate and oven-fresh bread and pastries wafts through the air at Schwanenplatz. With 240 m², the location of Confiseur Bachmann AG's main store is a mecca for connoisseurs with an integrated show confectionery. The chocolate wall is the new attraction at Schwanenplatz.

Chocolate competence

The chocolate assortment is exceptionally large: 60 homemade pralinés and truffles are lovingly presented in an optimal display in a three meter long praliné showcase. Incidentally, this is the longest praline display case in Switzerland! The technical challenge lay in the glass cover, which can be retracted to the rear at the touch of a button. The famous Bachmann-Baileys truffles, Lucerne specialties, a newly created Lucerne chocolate, plus Suchard, Lindt and Cailler chocolates leave nothing to be desired. Dark noble varieties in a wide variety of cacao percentages can also be found in abundance.

The chocolate fountain with flowing Swiss milk chocolate is one of the magnets and attractions of the store. Chocolate lovers can indulge themselves here. Above the exquisite piece, a large plasma screen shows the extraction and production of chocolate.
