The Peter Bakery has been running its business in Oetwil am See since August 1986. In the beginning the team consisted of 6 people. In August 1999, the bakery moved to Egg due to lack of space, and in the winter of 1999/2000, the store also underwent a total renovation. Since April 2000, the Peter Bakery has presented itself as a modern, innovative business that plays an important role in village life.

From 1 July 09 we took the next step and took over the confectionery Cafe Cavallino in Egg.
In addition to the traditional Ruch and Halbweiss breads, we offer 10 different special breads daily, as well as the popular Schoggibrötli and four different types of Gipfeli. Our Birchermüesli is also a big hit, and our customers don't want to miss out on our wide range of sandwiches. Our products are made fresh daily and are popular with young and old. People like to meet at our Kafibar and enjoy our various sweet pastries, tea pieces and our pâtisserie. For parties of all kinds, we are also happy to supply various cakes of any size, as well as our popular party bread of any desired size and shape. Our offer includes snake bread, filled sandwich bread, aperitif pastries, etc.

The Peter Bakery attaches great importance to seasonal products (Easter bread, vermicelles, doughnuts, strawberry tartlets). Our products enjoy an excellent reputation and also our sales team is always praised for its friendliness.

The team now consists of 35 people including apprentices and part-time employees. We attach great importance to friendliness and courtesy in serving our customers.
