Artisans boulangers-pâtissiers-confiseurs Vaudois (Pully)

The société des Artisans boulangers-pâtissiers-confiseurs vaudois is a cooperative society whose main aims are:

• to defend the interests of the industry and those of its members ;
• basic and continuing vocational training for the bakery-pâtisserie-confiserie sector;
• promotion of the artisanal bakery-pâtisserie-confiserie sector.

The society's members represent artisan bakers and confectioners working in the canton of Vaud (Switzerland). They are divided into eight local divisions (sections) and two interest divisions.

The Society has the following aims:

• Safeguarding interests in the economic and political context;
• representation of interests vis-à-vis partners, public opinion, authorities and competitors;
• training and further training in the bakery, pastry and confectionery trades;
• guaranteeing the quality and diversity of craftsmanship and raw materials;
• maintaining the image of its members;
• promoting solidarity and the identity of the baker-patissier-confiseur;
• employment and social policies specific to the industry;
• assistance in calculating market prices for products;
• advertising and raising public awareness;
• information specific to the industry and professional knowledge;
• maintaining relations with other organizations with similar aims.
