Thus, in response to the precise desire to make the senior home a place for living and social relations, we wanted to meet the need of the Morbio Inferiore community to have a store near the core. And of course we thought about bread. Bread is an element of simplicity that brings with it endless opportunities for encounters. A bakery with its scents and rituals is present in the lives of many generations and recalls the atmosphere of the intimacy of a small town.

Allegra was born with these premises, facilitating social relations and avoiding isolation in the elderly, and the enhancement of the area with the rediscovery of traditions and local knowledge. From the choice of raw materials to the food products for sale, the focus is on the enhancement of local realities.

Allegra is also promoting integration. Particularly through collaborations with social institutions, the bakery offers the possibility of reeducation and assistance to disabled people, who integrated into the staff guarantee some services to the community.

In summary, Allegra is an experience of tradition, solidarity and integration to create a collective benefit that breaks down the boundaries of the senior home.
